What Is CRMA?

CRMA (Computerized Radiographic Mensuration Analysis) is a specialized type of X-ray examination used to evaluate spinal ligament-based injuries that may occur after a traumatic event, such as a whiplash or fall. Unlike conventional MRI, which can sometimes miss subtle spinal ligament injuries, CRMA offers a more precise and accurate assessment.

Am I A Candidate?

CRMA may be beneficial for individuals who:

  • Specialized X-rays: CRMA involves taking specific X-rays of the spine in various positions.
  • Image analysis: A medical radiologist carefully analyzes the X-ray images, measuring and comparing the distances between different spinal structures.
  • Ligament assessment: The radiologist can evaluate the integrity of the spinal ligaments by identifying changes in these measurements.

Am I A Candidate for CRMA?

You may be a candidate for CRMA if you’ve experienced neck pain or discomfort following a whiplash injury or other trauma to the neck. This specialized testing is often recommended for individuals who continue to experience neck pain, dizziness, or headaches despite other treatment approaches.

Why Is CRMA Important?

CRMA can be beneficial in numerous ways, including:

  • Accurate diagnosis: CRMA can help identify spinal ligament injuries that other imaging techniques may miss.
  • Effective treatment: Accurate diagnosis leads to more targeted and effective treatment plans.
  • Preventing long-term complications: Early detection and treatment of spinal ligament injuries can help prevent long-term complications, such as chronic pain or disability.

Testimonials from Our Valued Patients

Joel Culpepper

I have had a history of pain and procedures. I have seen other chiropractors and therapists that didn’t help much if any. My first visit with Dr.Praya was more than I expected. A battery of xrays were done there and I was seen 2 days later. She helped relieve my immediate pain under my shoulder and set 6 more revisits. Thank you so much Dr.Praya!

Dr. Feeney came referred to me by a dear friend and then I learned that his staff as well as himself are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly they make feel like family. My back and hip pain has diminished more in the last six months then in the last 10 years. Thank you Dr. Feeney and staff.

As a competitive body builder and power lifter, spine care and back care are ESSENTIAL. I first came here for lingering shoulder impingement but now, through Dr Feeney’s techniques, my shoulder pain has been alleviated and the curvature in my spine has been almost moved to normal. So many people fear chiropractic therapy and treatment unnecessarily. I strongly recommend Physicians Plus Spine & Rehab Center.
